- All registrations are sold subject to availability. The Company cannot be held responsible for non completion of any purchase where the registration is no longer available for whatever reason. In this circumstance any payment made by the Purchaser will be refunded in full, provided the fault is not that of the Purchaser. The liability of the Company is strictly limited to a full refund of monies paid only and no claims for consequential losses shall be accepted.
- Under the Distance Selling Regulations the Company notifies you that our service begins as soon as a registration is reserved by the Purchaser, subsequently there is no 'cooling off period', the transaction cannot be reversed or cancelled and there will be no refund given under any circumstances.
- Any deposit taken is non refundable and will be kept by the 'Company' to cover expenses unless we fail to secure or transfer the registration at no fault of the 'Purchaser'.
- The 'Purchaser' can request a full refund of monies paid in the event that we are unable to complete a transfer within 10 weeks from receipt of the required documentation. This is provided that the 'Purchaser' is not at fault in any way.
- The 'Company' will make every reasonable attempt to complete all transactions as quickly as possible. We are unable to guarantee timescales nor can we be held responsible for delays outside our control.
- The 'Purchaser' agrees to pay the balance of any purchase price within 3 weeks. In the event that the 'Purchaser fails to meet this requirement (unless otherwise agreed in writing) the 'Company' reserves the right to take payment without further dialogue from any credit or debit card used to pay the deposit. A 2.5% handling fee will also be levied on credit card payments and a £1 fee for switch or debit cards. Should the balance not be paid in the agreed timescale then the 'Company' reserves the right to cancel any agreement and any deposits paid will be retained to cover costs.
- Most registrations are subject to V.A.T. at the current rate, all are subject to Department of Transport fees.
- Registrations purchased cannot be put onto a vehicle until the process is complete and a valid tax disc is held for that registration. All registrations must be displayed in accordance with government legislation.
- Registration numbers cannot be used to make a vehicle look younger than it actually is. The 'Company' cannot be held responsible in the event of an error being made by the 'Purchaser'.
- The 'Company' at all times endeavours to display correct prices for registrations, in the event of an error no money will be taken without prior consultation with the customer. In such cases the sale will not proceed.
- Our database is updated by the DVLA on a daily basis. As such, occasionally a plate may appear on our site for sale before we are informed by the DVLA that it is no longer available. In this case we will offer the buyer a similar plate of the same value as a replacement. If the customer deems this to be unsuitable, we will refund the cash minus an administration fee of £15 to cover our costs for the credit or debit card transactions. The refund will be done immediately but may take 3-5 days to appear in the buyer's account.
- In the event that a nominee fails to assign a plate to a vehicle within TWELVE months, the nominee needs to extend the certificate. We charge £35+VAT for the administration and the nominee must pay the DVLA £25 as part of the process.
- In the event that a nominee fails to respond to our correspondence with regards to the pending lapse of any form of certificate, we reserve the right to apply for an extension at our own cost, assume ownership of the registration mark and consider the purchase void. In such circumstances the failure to complete shall be the responsibility of the nominee and no refund shall be made.
